Football Time! Calallen wins Bi-district. Fightin' Wildcats ends the football season of the Mercede Tigers. The defense shut them out, and the Wildcat's offense scored 27 points. While the Wildcats started slow, the Tigers could not take advantage thanks to a mighty Calallen defense that was stretch and bend but never Broke.

"Chiquito pero picoso" Wide Receiver #1 Mathew Garza hauls in the 48 yard pass from quarterback Ryan Duke and together, they end the impasse between the big Tigers and Little Wildcats. Growl! Growl! ~

Quarterback Ryan Duke rambles untouched, the 18, the 15, 10, 5, 4,3,2,1, Touchdown! He gently, lays the football as if it was a Wildkitten in the end zone. No over the shoulder drop. :-)

Quarterback Ryan Duke breaks through the line for 26 big yards and a first down. Fine Performance, 82 yards in 12 carries, one touchdown, and 167 passing yards in 11 completion, not a bad evening work. Cool!

The super-fast sophomore wide receiver Mathew Garza is in the end zone! Wildcats 12 Tigers 0.

#35 Sean Hoelscher catches the pass on the five, four, three, two, one and it is a touchdown! One touchdown tonight, and 53 yards on three receptions. He also made a great 35 or so reception for a first down in the 2nd quarter.

With the Mighty Wildcats blocking on offense, and tackling on defense, they made a fine contribution for Ryan Duke to find his receivers, and connected twice with Mathew Garza for a pair of touchdowns. The defense was awesome in shutting out the Valley Mercedes Tigers.

The impasse is broken in the 2nd qtr. Ryan Ducke conneted with a 48 yard pass to Wide receiver Matt Garza down to the 18-yard line, from there, Ryan Duke gallops 18 yards for the first score. Wildcats 6-0.	The dynamic duo, Marek and Rowden, kick the ball more vertical than horizontal, and missed.

The defense is tough.	Ryan Duke sweeps and almost broke it for a long gain. But the last Tiger grab his foot and down went Ryan.
#17 Danny Ramirez is about to tackle Cody Heim #32, but not before he had 16 yards and a first down.	Another reception for Mathew Garza and a first down.

Beautiful defense. I counted four Wildcat hips, and one on the bottom. All working for the common goal -- bring the runner down.	The Mercedes Tiger are getting shut out as the Calallen defense is tough and rough and mean and won't let them score.

Ryan Duke and wide receiver Steven Vidaurri. Steven has 8 touchdowns for the season. The Tigers were double covering him, but Ryan Duke has plenty of Wildcat receivers that he could and did find.

One good reason for shutting out Mercedes, Chance Schneider was plugging the holes, and making tthe tackles. Great Family Support.

Mr. Mendez and his two sonsm Matt and Michael. That's cool, two brother on the Wildcat's team.
